When you submit your articles to the article directories, you should be obtaining a few hundred links that will lead back to your website.

You can put a link in some articles that go back to your website. If I find one that allows me to do this I’ll link one article to my main website and the other in another article I’ll link to my Web 2.0 articles.

When you get links this way you want at least half of the links going back to your main website. Keep up your article writing on a consistent basis and submit them to the directories and blog networks.Make sure that you have at least 50% of the links going back to your main website. Stay on a good routine of article writing and keep submitting your articles to the article directories.

There are good tools that will monitor your ranking relative to your keywords. At this point you should have a few hundred links going back to your website which will be anywhere between 0 to 2 PR rankings. I’ve never gotten anything higher than that.

Now you’re ready for the 3rd part of this process. Go to a directory and find high PR websites that are listed in it. Find the name and contact information to the person who runs the website and ask them if you can have a link going back to your website. You’ll have to be creative and offer them something of value for the link back, but it’s worth it.
